Maggie Gehlsen-Burnett
Maggie Gehlsen-Burnett is a writer, content creator, brand strategist, and recovering pageant queen. She participated for 12 years within the Miss America Organization, and was 1st Runner Up to Junior Miss Iowa 2008, Miss Iowa's Outstanding Teen 2012, and Miss Iowa 2018. She is a former University of Alabama Crimsonette and obtained her Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Nutrition from UA in 2017. Maggie has been a RAINN Speaker's Bureau member since 2018 and has worked extensively with several local, state, and national organizations dedicated to sexual assault prevention & survivor support. She is passionate about politics, having previously worked for the Iowa Democratic Party. Maggie aims to use her writing and social media presence to address topics like feminism, neurodivergence, mental health, politics, trauma, equal rights, and her personal stories through a healthy mix of laughter, authenticity, and swear words. She currently resides in Illinois with her husband Ty and their two corgis, Bruce and Arthur.

Mallory Hagan
Described as a “Real Life Bold Type” by NowThis News, Mallory Hagan embodies the phrase. A southern woman with New York grit, Mallory has traveled the nation bringing attention to countless issues facing Americans, from child sexual abuse to income inequality. Mallory’s dedication to community led to a run for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018, where she increased voter turnout and boosted faith in Alabama politics. Since then, Mallory has continued working on issues that matter. In 2020, she served as the Alabama Communications Director for the Bloomberg for President Campaign, and in 2022, she ran for Alabama State House District 25. Now, she is the National Press Secretary for The Seneca Project and consults for the Democratic Majority Action PAC .
Mallory regularly travels and speaks on a variety of topics. From women’s health and body positivity to youth engagement in politics. She lives in Alabama with her husband Kevin and bonus boys Nash and Beck.
